The Amalfi Coast in Italy is a perennially attractive destination for people seeking a memorable summer holiday in Italy. The unspoilt countryside, beautiful beaches surrounded by majestic cliff faces and the warm blue waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea help to make this a captivating destination. A stay at the Grand Hotel Tritone, with its many unique features, will ensure that your holiday is truly unforgettable.
Owned by the Gagliano family, the Grand Hotel Tritone was originally built in 1957 although it has been extended since then. It would be difficult to find a hotel on the Amalfi Coast with more perfect views as it is built into the side of a cliff directly overlooking the sea with views of the Isle of Capri and the Archipelago of Li Galli which according to legend was once home to sirens.
The hotel offers a selection of room including suites. All the rooms have sea view which you can enjoy from either a balcony or terrace. The rooms are decorated using local materials with attractive designs of majolica tiles. There is direct access to a private beach either by lift or by The Impossible Staircase which was such a feat of engineering that it literally had to be built one stair at a time. The Grand Hotel Tritone has two seawater pools with one, which also has a jacuzzi area, located by the main part of the hotel and one by the private beach.
It is the captivating little extras that create a luxury holiday experience, and this is what makes the Grand Hotel Tritone a special holiday destination. If you tire of the pools and the beach, then while away an afternoon wandering through the lemon trees in the Limonaia or sit and relax in the Uliveto amongst the olive trees and enjoy the spectacular views.
You will experience authentic Mediterranean cuisine during your stay and there are several dining options. Start your day by enjoying the homemade pastries at the breakfast buffet then maybe lunch at the Nino Beach restaurant where Maître Enzo D'Amato will be ready to attend to your every need. For a snack at any point during the day, pop into the Nino Beach Bar for a choice of aperitifs created by our Executive Chef and wash them down with a cocktail.
Evening dining is in the La Cala delle Lampare restaurant overlooking the sea which is lit by traditional fishing lights. Everything on the menu is homemade and based on traditional Mediterranean cuisine but with n original twist. If you would like n even more romantic option, then book an evening meal in the Belvedere de Professore which is a secluded spot located at the top of the cliff where you can dine by candlelight amongst the stars.
Oher services offered by the Grand Hotel Tritone include our well being options. There is a selection of massages available to book which includes a candlelit option. Guests can also book yoga classes or a workout with one of the hotel's personal trainers.
